Join the MRAC Volunteer Park and Greenspace Gardening Event on June 13
Get your gardening gloves ready! Melgund Recreation, Arts and Culture (MRAC) invites volunteers to the upcoming Community Garden Gathering. Taking place on Saturday, June 13, at 10:00 a.m., this volunteer event is dedicated to beautifying our local park and greenspace.
Whether you are a seasoned gardener or a beginner looking to give back, your hands-on help will make a visible difference. Volunteers will gather at the Dyment Recreation Hall before heading out to enhance the community’s park and greenspace.
Planting Trees and Flowers in Preparation for Canada Day Events
The primary focus of this weekend’s gathering is preparing public areas for upcoming community celebrations. Volunteers will work together to plant vibrant new flowers and young trees in preparation for Canada Day events, ensuring the park and greenspace look spectacular ahead of the festivities.
It is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and improve our essential park and greenspace. No prior experience is necessary to participate.
