Celebrate Canada Day in Northwestern Ontario with an afternoon of live music, local art, handmade goods, community spirit, and family-friendly fun. On Wednesday, July 1st, 2026, the Living Land Lab arts collective is joining forces with community partners to host the annual Dyment Community Craft Sale and Artists Market at the Dyment Recreation Hall and Park.
This popular Canada Day gathering showcases the creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit of local artists, artisans, crafters, makers, growers, and small businesses from across Melgund Township, Borups Corners, Dyment, and neighbouring communities throughout Northwestern Ontario.
Whether you’re looking to discover unique handmade products, support local artists, browse one-of-a-kind artwork, enjoy live entertainment, or connect with neighbours, this community market offers something for everyone. Visitors can explore vendor booths, meet local creators, and celebrate Canada Day while supporting regional talent and rural economic development.

Are you looking for an artist market, craft fair, vendor event, or exhibition opportunity in Northwestern Ontario? We are currently seeking local artists, craftspeople, makers, photographers, woodworkers, fibre artists, Indigenous creators, backyard growers, collectors, food producers, and creative entrepreneurs to participate in this year’s Canada Day market.
This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your work, connect directly with customers, build your audience, and become part of a growing network of rural artists and makers. Whether you create fine art, traditional crafts, handmade goods, locally produced foods, or unique vintage finds, we encourage you to apply.
We believe in supporting local creativity and making opportunities accessible. That’s why vendor spaces are completely free of charge. Participants may choose between indoor table spaces inside the recreation hall or outdoor vendor locations within the park grounds.
We welcome a diverse range of exhibitors and vendors, including:
- Artists & Fine Art Exhibitors: Paintings, photography, mixed media, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, and contemporary art.
- Handmade Crafts & Land Art: Textiles, woodworking, pottery, jewelry, natural materials, and handcrafted décor.
- Artisan Goods: Locally made soaps, candles, personal care products, and traditional handmade items.
- Local Produce & Fresh Foods: Homegrown vegetables, preserves, baked goods, wild honey, and farm products.
- Vintage & Collectible Finds: Antiques, curated collections, upcycled goods, and unique treasures.

Vendor and artist spaces are limited and are expected to fill quickly. Early registration is encouraged to secure your preferred location.
