On behalf of the Local Services Board of Melgund and the Recreation Committee, we would like to wish everyone a very Happy Canada Day!
Today is a time to celebrate the people, communities, and landscapes that make Canada such a special place to call home. Here in Melgund, we are fortunate to live in a community where neighbours look out for one another and where the beauty of northern Ontario is never far from our doorstep.
We invite everyone to join us for our Canada Day celebrations from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Enjoy a variety of community activities, browse the Silent Auction, and stop by the Cookshack for some great food. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity to spend time together, catch up with friends and neighbours, and continue building the strong sense of community that makes this region such a wonderful place to live.
As you spend time with family and friends, whether you’re attending the festivities or celebrating in your own way, we hope your Canada Day is filled with laughter, good company, and lasting memories. Please celebrate safely and take a moment to appreciate everything that makes our country—and our community—unique.
