Presentation
Braydon (NWMO) delivered a presentation on Site Characterization. All attendees found the presentation informative. Appreciation was extended to both Braydon and Chantelle.
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 8:07 PM by Chairperson Pat Daignault.

New Business
Canada Day Planning
- Planning is ongoing
- Music arrangements have been finalized
- NWHU special event permit will be applied for
- Five residents will complete the food handler certification
- A new propane tank will be purchased for the BBQ (existing tank valve is not functioning)
Recreation Funding
- Annual NWMO recreation funding of $3,500.00 has been received
Community Support
- Volunteers needed: Three residents to manage garbage collection on Saturdays for July, August, and September
NWMO Update
- Chantelle updated the informational kiosk located in the hall
Recreation Committee Update
- Monday and Wednesday afternoon coffee sessions continue to be successful
- Approximately 10 attendees at the most recent session
- All residents are welcome from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Spring Exhibition 2026
- Launch Date: April 17, 2026
- Will feature local and regional artists
- Marks the first exhibition in the newly rejuvenated lower level of the hall

Treasurer’s Report for February 2026 was presented.
