Beginning in 1997, Jack and Elaine Robinson started building a museum in their backyard, as a way to preserve and showcase the history of the area. Before long, one museum turned into two buildings and a train caboose, showcasing not only Dyment history, it also includes Dinorwic, Wabigoon an even some Dryden history as well.
Today the museum is run by Jack and Elaine's daughter; Karen, and her husband Pat.
Admission is free, however donations are greatly accepted*
*The Dyment Museum is a privately owned entity and replies on donations to preserve the buildings and rich history they house.
